Gratitude – for a great beach walk with a bestie, for the ocean finally gone blue again, for connecting with someone far away, for a new short story finallly underway, and for finding an embarassing typo before anyone else saw it and pointed out the glaring error!

Gratitude – for a brisk beach walk to start my day, for migrating seabirds stopping to rest, for daffodils blowing in the wind, for hours and hours of writing, and for the reward… three hours of great music courtesy of the ACM Award show.

Gratitude – for correspondence from afar that made me smile, for the rain stopping at noon, for the sound of twenty-plus cats zealously crunching kibble, for a welcoming committee at the Happy Forest, for nearly 3000 new words written, and for cherry blossoms.

Gratitude – for a great day with my besties, for the gift of having besties, for green beginning to show on trees, for daffodils, for feeling the burn tonight when I added a bit of weight to the exercise program, and for my editor’s wonderful comments on the latest manuscript (made me grin like an idiot).

For a beach walk not spoiled by rain because it was replaced by a good gab under cover 🙂 , for a short story that just keeps getting longer, and for Mavis providing comic relief while I was trying to do crunches…which quickly became impossible due to laughter.
